This doesn't have anything to do with the Malaysian Airliner that was shot down with an advanced weapon from 33,000 Ft., it's more about how sad our news coverage is in general.
The "Anchor" doesn't get it, and probably never will. Pay close attention to the dialogue.

If it isn't BBC, Al Jazeera or Deutche Wella it's probably not worth using as a news source.
