Custom Game Consoles!

So I've been toying with the idea more and more lately... And I've decided it's time. I'm going to build custom gaming consoles. By this I mean removing a current (or older) console from it's housing, designing and building a new case, reworking the cooling solution to be superior, doing any number of personal customizations to it, and possibly adding things like battery banks for mobile use, a TV screen in the case, themed builds with matching controllers, and such. For the first ones at least, I'm going to go with wood as a building material, and I'm going to go for a very "Classy" look. Probably use Mahogany, Cherry, or something like that. Was wondering if anyone had any sort of input or ideas, or possibly even requests. Also been thinking of doing a combo-console like a PS3/PS4 Combo.

I like this idea a lot! What's kind of software will the Mike-Standard version have you think?

The consoles themselves won't have custom software. The hardware will most likely be changed at least somewhat though. Cooling will be the main concern, and static grounding, as wood is somewhat conductive.
