Update: I don't even use Google Analytics anymore. I like the Piwik reports much better.

I would like to set this up for my blog, is it good to keep both pwik and the blog on the same instance? I have a cloudways instance.

I have a separate server, but I am monitoring 6 websites at the moment and more are coming soon.
I am sure you could put it on the same instance because piwik doesn't use much resources. My server has 768MB of RAM and I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

I have been hosting my own server for months and then I found something out really cool today. If you have CPanel access on your website you can install it one click on your web sever
