That's a big memory drop.
It is... however I felt like 192GB was more than I needed. I probably should ask how much the add'l ram would cost and go ahead and get it if the cost is negligible.
As long as there was a good reason and not just a sudden loss of RAM

RAM is often super cheap. Get it now and you'll probably find a use for it.

@thwr Those Samsung's make sure they are PM or SM series drives and not 8xx series garbage.

I guess you mean the OP? I wouldn't put consumer drives in a server

@John-Nicholson They are supposed to be from the PM series (PM853T).
