GOG Summer Sale
-
GOG.com is having another insane flash sale. Get on there and buy some stuff!! New sales every hour.
-
LOVE GOG! I was having a party the day they released Zork Grand Inquisitor and have been patiently waiting Grim Fandango but I see where Sony has the rights to it and will be re-releasing it. Not sure if that means PS4 only though.

Gog is a great service. Their sales are super hard to use, though.

You can get The Seventh Guest for $1,49 right now. That game was pretty bad in 1995, I can't imagine playing it now.

Yeah, I almost got it for nostalgic reasons but decided against it. The Tex Murphy series was well worth the cost (even if it didn't include the new game.)

They almost tempted me with those.

Love those games...was so excited when they made a new one a few months back. Promptly purchased it. It still has that 90's adventure game feel and features "Tom Servo's" voice as Tex's PDA. . I've played with it some just not a lot of time. I am sure I'll get around to a lot of my GOG games when I am in my 70s.

I was a Kings Quest guy myself.

Same here but before that, I was heavy into Infocom games...I could really envision the environments I was in just by the text. Zork, Deadline, Planetfall....loved them all. I was an Amiga guy by the time the Kings Quest games came out and despite the EGA graphics, I was jealous of my PC friends having games like that. Finally got the later editions of the games but then VGA was surpassing the Amiga and I finally made the jump to the PC.

I played them on Amiga too. But in 1987 the Amiga version was way ahead of the PC options.
