I've done Rochester to the Chicago city limit in 10 hours straight in the car. It's long, but not horrible.
If Google maps says 9:42, then I will probably come in a bit faster than that.
I did it in a van so there had to be faster ways. And it was winter (not snowy, just winter.)
My buddy and I did it in a beat up old box van that overheated if we went over 55 unless we drafted really close to a semi. it was fucking crazy.

Trying to see if I can come. @scottalanmiller knows I'm from Batavia, NY which sits smack in the middle of Buffalo and Rochester and this would be a PERFECT reason to stop by my home town. Unfortunately, there are two other HPE events that same week, both of which have requested my presence. Me sad.
Maybe I should see if the Bills are playing - that could push me over the edge to skip the HPE events! -

There is a really nice Sports Bar right around the corner from the hotel. http://www.legendsrochester.com/ They have great food too.

I'd be surprised if they cannot put the game on in a room at the conference, too.

I'm planning on going to the game on Thursday. At the very least, I will be watching it some place but since I currently live in NM, I don't think I could justify not going if I'm less than 100 miles away especially since its the home opener, on Thursday Night and against the Jets.
