I have been looking for some affordable dedicated servers.
They all seem to be located in Kansas City, Missouri.
Why? Cheap Power? Low Taxes? All of the above?

Yup, Google Fiber. It's the fastest, cheapest ISP city in the nation. Has been for a few years now.

Cost of living is very low in KC, MO as well. It is a rather inexpensive place to travel in and out of.
