Bits and Bytes (1983)

 I've been looking for this for years (not knowing the name didn't help) and finally found it. It is a Canadian show that we saw in NY via PBS when I was young. It aired in 1983 and introduced many of the most popular computers of the era (8bit era pre-Mac and pre-Amiga.). I used to watch this with @SonshineAcres and my mom in the years before we owned a computer at home. A very influential, but silly, show for me.

 I'm actually watching through these again. Watching these now I realize just how much I probably originally learned from these. While silly and horribly dated it really teaches a lot. It would actually be good for many younger IT people to see this to get some context on where we have come from.

 These are seriously classic. Talk about taking you back!

 These are very unfamiliar for me , thank you for your sharing , i got so much information about History of Computer

 I'm watching one with my five year old daughter right now. She is enjoying the show. She thinks that it is really cool. My wife thinks that this is hilarious.

 The five year old is now watching the second episode! This thing is popular.

 @scottalanmiller And Billy was learning computers by playing games! lol ironically, that's sort of how I got started......my Aunt and Uncle introduced me to Mario Teaches Typing on a Packard Bell system. I was hooked.
-
 @Bill-Kindle wow. Lol

 I want to try teaching my daughter by using some eight bit machines. These things made me love computers when I was her age. I wonder how much growing up at the same time that computers grew up influenced my love of them.
