In the US, for example, entry level positions cannot be filled from overseas. This is often the case in big countries as there are laws for hiring available US resources for those positions and only advanced positions may be filled from overseas.

For larger companies, which are the ones generally able to sponsor the necessary work visas, you can often apply to them directly through their websites. Get a well polished resume / CV ready and submit to many companies. This is the best place to start.

There are standard websites for looking for jobs, and even these tend to be filled with fake jobs, like Monster, Dice, LinkedIn, CareerBuilding (is that one still around), ServerFault, etc. These are a good place to start too.

None of those sites that I listed charge. If you are being charged, it is someone scamming you.

Just call the company directly. Stop talking to people trying to take your money.

You could start cheap, do entry level server support. Work your way up with reputation, focus on some specific skills (maybe learn Nginx really well and do a lot of that.) Not going to get you rich, but it might earn you enough to make doing an entry level job not make sense.

Having just lived in Panamá there is a lot of opportunity in places like this as the amount of local IT is very small. Don't limit yourself to looking at big markets like the US, Canada and UK because places like Panamá have much easier visa requirements AND paths to citizenship in many cases.
