So one of the members of leadership here pushes people til they snap, and this guy just snapped. Threw a glass jar, and a jar of peanut butter. The glass jar hit the cubicle wall, ricocheted and hit the wall and shattered. One of the QAs got a piece of glass in his eye. The hole in the wall was from the peanut butter jar. No, I'm not in security but I do know how to handle myself. Building security was up there with us (also a friend of mine) and was trying to get him to just leave, because she knows about the guy who causes all the issues here, and she's not a fan, but she had a job to do.
We got him to the elevators and we're on the 12th floor, so it takes 10-20 seconds to call an elevator. My roommate (former military) had my back, and we got him on the elevator. The QA, who last week called him a crackhead because he came in sweating profusely because of a steroid he was on that he was taking after just getting out of the hospital, walked through some double-doors by the elevator, and he started to charge. I pinned him back against the back wall of the elevator. After we got him downstairs, the guard let me handle getting him off the property and I stayed with him and helped him calm down. Then I took him to the bus hub and went back upstairs.
I managed to come out of all this looking good to all parties included, and I wasn't hurt. I got behind him and locked him in a bear hug. He was a hysterical, crying and screaming, but I got him calmed down. Overall, no one was totally innocent in the situation, but as much as we all (security included) wanted to let him go after the TL, I didn't want him going to jail for assault because he was in berserker mode.
He spoke to some other people from here last night and I've learned he's apologized for reacting the way he did, and knows he was wrong to react that way, but I just wanted to calm him down. Work is not the place to handle things like that. So all is calm today, but this place is toxic. I'll be glad to be getting out soon, hopefully.
But this is the third situation in 3 weeks (albeit the worst) where this one TL has had people blow up against him, and those are not even close to isolated or individual incidents, all about one person. So I was told corporate legal is getting involved, and now there's a decent chance they'll shut the whole program down. Waiting to see what happens.
Sheesh... Everybody should start reporting the TL to management... Go above his head if they need to. No reason for a guy to push people 'til they snap like that.
They have. His temp agency knows all about him. Our corporate HQ knows about him. He's just been teflon to-date, and no one has any idea why...it makes no sense.

@art_of_shred I think the point is completely lost in there. Electric vehicles are the future and they will be much better for the environment. While today's technology may not be perfect that is how we humans progress - one step at a time. It sounds like you are arguing that we shouldn't bother and just continue our destructive ways. That is not progressing anything.
Plus they are WAY quicker than a gas car!
OMG, a Tesla when the pedal gets pushed all the way down is like going over the big hill on a rollercoaster. Literally experienced that exact sensation riding in one in California in 2013 when I visited Pertino with @scottalanmiller and @Nick42

RE: Dual-WAN Router Recommendations
Thanks guys. I will let you know how this goes, if I end up getting a second WAN connection, and I'll report back when that happens. I think the Ubiquiti equipment is sounding like the best bet though.

Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite, of course.
Wouldn't the EdgeRouter X work here, as well?
Possibly better if you need more than 3 ports. I had to return my ER-X, and they didn't have any of them left in stock.... so I went home with an EdgeRouter PoE instead.
Three should be fine. Two WAN ports and a port for an AP, and I'm good.
