Pretty sure that company is bankrupt. I thought you were keeping your current jobs?
I am. It was just kind of funny. My rule is if a company chooses to use a company out of India for recruiting in the USA, they immediately get eliminated from consideration.

RE: Photo storage -Flickr vs Google photos vs ?
Google Photos JUST yesterday updated their app to include more editing features. Haven't played with it too much yet but I've used Google Photos for awhile and have been very happy.

RE: Work horse - Monochrome dual tray maximum Printer - Network compatible

The HLL6200DWT, do they make that without the wireless?
Not that wireless is a bad thing, but there are enough random devices broadcasting in the building that I don't want to add another.
Presumably an HLL6200D?
They usually make a non-wireless version, but then you have to buy the tray separate. My recommendation is just to go to the web interface and disable wireless and broadcasting, and you'll acheive the same effect.

Dual-WAN Router Recommendations
Looking for a dual-WAN router for home use. It doesn't have to be crazy but I'm looking for something that will load-balance the traffic between the connections in the event of high usage, etc. I currently have FiOS and, in the near future, may end up with a Time Warner connection. Suggestions?

Since you said single side scanning, I will suggest the Samsung m2070fw it might be cheap, but man it does everything. and on the network using WiFi with very easy to use software.
Its black and white only, but there is another version for it with colors, But this one is very decent A4 printer, and dont trust folks that tells you it can work only for home, I have seen 20-30 people using this small thing and it working. But sadly there is no scan to email function. just network scan.
Thanks! Forgot to mention that i need color prints as well. Do you remember the model number of the Samsung color ?
Avoid Samsung. Their color cartridges on a lot of the smaller duty machines are less than 1000 pages (usually 7-800) and they are expensive because you only get a few pages out of them.

This would be a good machine. Not a huge initial cost, and decent yield.

Made breakfast for the family, loaded and started the dishwasher, and now I'm waiting on a text.
Good way to start the day. What did you cook?
Bacon and eggs with onions and cheddar cheese. I put the eggs and bacon in the shape of a smiley face on everyone's plates.

RE: Happy Birthday Thread
It was November 8, 2012. I had recently started a new job and also just started back at Staples. It was in Auburn, NY with @Mike-Davis at Beardsley Architects + Engineers. This was a historic day in my life, and from this day on my life was never the same. Why? Because this was the first day I met Danielle Ralston, the infamous (yes, infamous) @Minion-Queen .
It was a Spicecorps meetup. I believe it was Skillsoft that sponsored the meeting that night. After I finished listening to the presentation, I wanted to meet this woman I'd seen so much online. The one who worked with @scottalanmiller , @Dominica (aka Wife of SAM), Jeremy Richardson and a few others. We started talking and she gave me a business card and told me to send her my resume.
That night, I went home and did just that. The next night we talked on the phone for forty-five minutes and she told me that if I was interested in working with NTG to let her know. I told her "let me think about it", waited about five seconds, and said "I'm in!" She was quite surprised by it but she seemed excited by my enthusiasm.
How little did I know that this seemingly simple meeting would result in a chain of events that would shake me to my very core and completely flip my entire world upside down. NTG part-time, to full-time, to Texas, to life-changing decisions, and so much more. It all can be traced back, directly, to the Spicecorps of Syracuse, NY on November 8, 2012.
Danielle never was just a boss. She was, and still is, a mentor, both in work and in life. She is one of my closest and dearest friends. She's my big sister that I never had. I'm honored to call her a friend. So on this day, of January the 9th, (which also happens to be my mother's birthday...weird right?!), I wanted to take a moment to wish her a most auspicious and happy birthday. On this day, an undisclosed number of years ago, a truly amazing person entered the world, and the world is better for it.
Thank you for helping me along the way in my journey, and may we continue to have many more decades of dear friendship. Love you Danielle!!
