Assuming you can add the resources to your current servers (the one time costs ones) could be cool

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionThanks for the input guys. Bought a BigDog1 so gonna give it a try (even if I just end up using it as my website server)
It just finished installing server 2008r2 and all my network tests (in the portal) fail and I cant console in (again from the portal) so ticket opened lol

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionOn an unrelated (but semi) related note has anyone tried running Hyper V on one of their Big Dog servers?
Does it actually allow you to visualize a virtual?

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionAh, so probably cant install what I want on top then, Just add additional bare linux servers (which is still actually pretty cool to utilize resources)

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionHmm, I'm confused where the images come from. lxd-images import lxc ubuntu trusty amd64 --alias ubuntu
lxd-images import lxc debian wheezy amd64 --alias debianWould this allow for ISO installs? For example from https://github.com/turnkeylinux-apps/openvpn

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionHmm, very interesting.
Looking into this right now. Thank you.

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT Discussion@thecreativeone91 Ya that definately makes sense. Even just some sort of approve/disapprove program on there side. I would be more than fine waiting for something like that to be approved by a human on their end.

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionYa even deploying stuff like Sophos UTM, monitoring services, 1 click deployments, so many options would make C@C seem so desirable to everyone and anyone (well more so)

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionHmm interesting thanks. I wish they had a simple "Custom ISO" which allowed for upload, would be so sweet.

RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionI'm gonna guess thats pricey but ya, that would definately allow it I would assume.
-
RE: Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionYa I'm more so trying to stay in the realm of multiple low servers doing specific jobs instead of the beefier ones. Add slowly. Edit:
Especially since the harddrive space is so low.

Turnkey Installs on CloudatCostposted in IT DiscussionHey guys. Anyone know if it would be possible to install any of the Turnkey installs at Cloudatcost? (On one of their dev severs mainly) I realize they are downloadable as ISO or VM's files but thought I would still ask if anyone knew of anyway or working some linux magic. Thanks

RE: Linux Domain Controllerposted in IT DiscussionHaha, alright so I set up the steps today to change the port, create new user, elevate all that (as I'm sure the people who are reading this saw) Now my error is relating to the changes I made.
I assume the two things can work successfully together? Im my constant posts on trying to get this going is annoying anyone just lemme know and I'll stop attempting this/asking a million questions haha
