Ok now that I actually logged into Gravatar and set everything up, it's working well. The issue still remains that if you don't use the Gravatar system, it won't let you select a manually uploaded profile on ML itself.

RE: Standing Out from the MSP Masses
For some reason your post is showing greyed out - did you delete it @ajstringham ?
Anyway, like Richard said, a few years back Webroot threw everything out and started from scratch with cloud antivirus. It was a bold move but payed off, obviously.

RE: The New Site Is Up!
@pchiodo sweet, I put down an entry on my calendar. We could go get dinner at one of the gluten-free Udi's restaurants in Denver. I tried one out last weekend and it was excellent.

RE: High-tech toilet seats: no hands or paper required
I would love bidets to take off in the US. Or hi-tech combo toilets. Bathrooms should go paperless!

RE: Common issues in Quickbooks
@ajstringham that's what they used before moving to SQLAnywhere (Sybase's embedded database). The problem was they had all this legacy code, and the only way to get it working at first was to do an emulation layer to duplicate the c-index interface. They've been slowly removing that and talking to SQLAnywhere directly, but that takes a lot of time.

RE: Target Knew About Data Breach Longer Than Stated
I'd be willing to bet they ignored the warning because it came from their outsourced Bangalore office. Equal parts racism and disdain for outsourcers.

hmmm... would I want to move to CO? lol
It's a very green state, if you know what I mean.

RE: Common issues in Quickbooks
@ajstringham the move did speed things up somewhat, and allowed for larger list limits. I haven't played with the last couple years versions so not sure how much faster it is now.

Come work with me! It's local only, since there's a lot of in-office duties.

RE: Standing Out from the MSP Masses
I'm a prepper. I have to practice at least a half-dozen complete run-throughs to feel comfortable on stage.

RE: Community Update & Patch Saturday: March 8, 2014
@scottalanmiller Thanks, that pointed me in the right direction. A quick search showed me Settings->Advanced->Privacy->Content Settings->Notifications->Manage Exceptions

RE: Make XP Open Source
They'd never do that because the code base would be embarrassing

RE: If you are new drop in say hello and introduce yourself please!
@Kimberlin I've learned that flattery will get me everywhere

RE: Webroot
@ShaunS yeah the deep scans do the same thing as the fast scans, just for all your files. You'll get a higher data usage the first time you run it, but it won't bog down the machine. And you can schedule and time them so they are in off peak hours if you like. I'm confident that Webroot will pick up anything that comes through email, so having separate filtering is just a nice to have.

RE: Happy SysAdmin Day 2014!
we're hosting the Denver SpiceCorps tonight, so that will be my happy hour
