Heh, it happens! And I meant to add a smiley at the end of my earlier comment, but it was pretty late for me lol

Yeah, we see how effective that judge was - 4 1/2 years later and, what, at least 4 versions of Word (if you count Office for Mac, and Office 365, Office 2010 and 2013)?

Do you have good days where your tinnitus isn't so bad or is it a constant thing?
It use to be some good/bad - but lately its been pretty constant. By Army standards, I have hearing loss more so on the right side, but luckily, the tinnitus does interfere too much. Its just seems to be worse when its quiet, of course, again, luckily, it does not impact my ability to sleep much. And for those who do not know what its like - go to a loud concert and see how your hearing is following it - that ringing you hear? Yeah, all the time here Meh, it is what it is or as my MIS teacher use to say "FIPO" - "eff It, Push On" - lol

Ran to Walmart and picked up a WD My Passport Ultra to test out. It is a fraction of the size of external USB drives that I have used before. I should be able to get a bit better storage density with this unit. This will be far better for traveling.
I'll take 2 - $99 for 2TB in that size? Yeah, I know what I'm getting soon to replace my USB drive cases.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Just got home from shopping with my step-daughter, helped my friend with some advice (an hour long call) and now just perusing some posts - what sucks is my tinnitus is really going loud in my ears Part of being in the Army for so long I guess - it just sucks.

RE: I Need a Cat Whisperer
Cats are definitely in a class by themselves, and sometimes for good reason. I do love my cats but when this happens, trying to find a solution is not always easy. As someone said, believe it or not, it can be a sign of depression. Just because they "tolerated" each other, there was still a "pecking" order per say and it sounds like your cat may have been at the top - just a guess. Mine started doing it with the introduction of two other cats into the household - luckily, he stopped, but it took some time and a lot of it came from getting use to the fact that he wasn't the only one in the house. You've already done the one thing that I would have suggested which is replacing the cat box (been there done that), so now its time to talk to a vet. It could be that the cat is trying to find the smells of her "friend" and exert her control, even though her friend isn't there. And no, I have nothing to back that theory up with, I'm just pulling it out of my ass, no pun intended.

Howdy y'alls, Mike from Spencer, MA (central MA), just lurking in the shadows for now. I'm shy
Ha!
Soon to be retired Colonel, US Army and heading back to the IT world full time, instead of as an extra duty to do on top of my usually full schedule. Working a couple of certs here and there, we'll see what the next year will come up with, hopefully not being unemployed.
