why would you buy that bundle just for one show? Just by Disney+, save some bucks.
I got Apple+ for free year with T-Mobile ... Just finished off season 2 of Ted Lasso ... EXCELLENT show.

Anyone know what drive is inside?
Model #: WD140EDGZ-11B1PA0 I read on Reddit that they're Helium Filled 7200 relabeled Reds.

Been here before but very little. Had to spend today getting COVID test done (again.) Tomorrow, though, we are driving to the Keys as we've never done that before.
Hopefully weather clears up tomorrow for you. Yes Key Largo and John Pennecamp would probably be a big hit for you and family and its not that far.
Going all the way to Key West is cool - but not as kid friendly and more of a bar/drinking hanging out place, plus its an extra 2 hour drive. Can't go wrong in the keys though. Nice and relaxing.
@scotth Are you familiar with Miami? Lots of nice culture and food places. The Miami Heat are on a roll and have a game tomorrow night you could visit too. Just go to Bayside, enjoy the food and atmosphere, roll over to Hardrock at the end and their new giant Ferris wheel to get a good view of Miami.

Hasn't Chia Minning kind of failed now as a currency, that should help bring the prices back down. I'd just would'nt buy any second hand hard drives at the moment.
Well at $200 or $170 for a 14TB ... why would anyone buy used. I'd rather not buy someone else's problem. Especially when I keep data on it I care about
@krzykat Just found out they have a 15% off for anyone that recycles an old drive (I hear even old non-working drives qualify) That will bring the price down to just $170

With another product I had a customer complain because we had to jump into a server because of performance issues, and they could graph that we too access the active console of the server (all virtual). And thought it was a security risk because we could potentially see confidential data.
Of course we are the domain administrator as well so...
Then their option is to hire their own onsite personnel that handle the same tasks, won't be as qualified and cost them more money. If you don't trust your IT team ... well time to move on. I don't want any clients that don't trust us.
@dustinb3403 Yes and Yes - externals - you open them up -shuck the casing and you get a good WD White
I've been wanting to upgrade storage on a couple NAS and have been waiting for Black Friday deals to hopefully find HD's that aren't crazy expensive... that time is now. They have 14TB drives (shuck em) for just $200 ... just $15 / TB - best price I've seen in a while.
@pete-s I'm a big fan of Ubiquiti EdgeRouter and its got a nice set of GUI tools to actually show you traffic analysis, how much is being used and by whom. Once you see that they're not eating up their bandwidth (people always assume its slow - throw more money at it with more unused bandwidth) - then you can isolate what and why. As you said, probably some shit switches, or their PC's are so jacked up that they don't function properly. Also - I've found that people end up with a hundred chrome windows open with only 8GB of RAM and the computer can't handle it. They say their internet is slow, when in reality its their computer that can't handle the load being placed upon it.
@scottalanmiller unfortunately, it seems the answer is No.
@scottalanmiller So MC doesn't have an option for this as far as you know?
@jaredbusch Client uses it for remote access to their office while they work from home a few days a week and doesn't want someone snooping in their office while they aren't there watching what they are doing.
Does the current version of MC support blanking the screen you're connecting to?
@skyetel Looks like someone's loading for bear, and doing some nice front side mitigation to insure they don't get DDoS. Again, like what you guys are doing and building things properly on the front side instead of waiting till there's a problem and trying to fix it after the fact.
@scottalanmiller I agree and upon reflection, using Vultr DDoS wouldn't work if they were attacked anyhow. Certainly it would be higher up the food chain. I have backups of everything and would have it up very quick somewhere else. I've actually been working on my Kazoo setup and can use it as failover.
@scottalanmiller I was thinking more of do they try to take down Vultr
@jaredbusch I've got my PBX's pretty well locked down by using FQDN, but now all this is making me think ... do I need to add the DDoS feature set on all my Vultr instances? What's everyone else do?
@dashrender I've had issues with RFC2833 and had to change some systems with IVR front ends to inband signaling.
