How to monitor 100 cloud VM'sposted in IT Discussion
Is there a way to monitoring 100 vm's in the cloud that are Windows 2012 R2? This is on a VPS.
The cpu, ram, hdd, network possibly would be the data to see. Need to be at a glance viewable and if able with report.

So when I first install XenServer and I "tick" thin provisioning, behind the scene it's making the drive ext, so I assume if I didn't choose thin provisioning it would have made it LVM?

@spiral the thing is that load can't be as bad as it use to be back in the day! Hell just getting a virtualized infrastructure saves $$, the switch to SSD's saves money, and I'm pretty sure people are using docker now days. When I look at VULTR that's a crazy example of getting the most bang for buck!

That's one of those things, if you want fast calculations, etc, that can be done with modern web coding. Push comes to shove someone would build a lightweight app which still is using some of the code from the web.

Also for me focusing on non-profits, I like to take something that is possibly not the "best or beast setup" and figure out how can I make it better. In my head with virtualization th,ere is almost 0 excuses with every non-profit in america isn't virtualized to go along with our other allotments.
I can do more with a Dell Power Edge 710 and a few dollars spent on networking gear, ram than I could have imagined years ago. I was definitely a late adopter to virtualization. I wish had I took the time when I worked enterprise, I could have made some smart decisions to have our company save some $.
But nothing makes me more happy than knowing I am saving our non profit and our clients $ by the more I can learn.
that drives me each day.
