Yes - knowing who is involved does rather matter sometimes. Interesting that both @hostadillo and @Kim-Valley have the same IP address - The Avatar image was found to be used on at least one other site. So we really have no idea who we are trying to prove this to.

Shouting isn't nice. Seems like a conflict of interest as @Danp mentions. How does the community know that Hostadillo isn't NTG? @scottalanmiller sure is pushing the service, but I can't sign up to try it so I can't attest to worth the service.

When @scottalanmiller says "we" he's most likely referring to NTG. So the issue I see is a lack of transparency if he is recommending a hosting service without divulging that he has skin in the game.
