It works
One thing I hate about XCP-ng is the lack of support for UEFI...
I assume they renewed because now it just shows right....

Do you have the MailboxImportExport Role assigned to your user?
Unsure what we have setup here. Haven't played with exchange yet
Add your user to the group
New-ManagementRoleAssignment โRole "Mailbox Import Export" โUser "username"
Then Close the Exchange EMC and then open it again and run the search.

And we have an ASA down, fun.
Quick, replace it with a UBNT while nobdody's looking!
I just did that to replace a Sonicwall TZ100 yesterday! It runs smooth like butter

@scottalanmiller said in Exchange / Office 365 Auto Response from Public Folder:
We have a public folder on Office 365 that is email enabled, the customer would like an auto-response from the public folder. I'm not sure if that is even possible.
Wouldn't that be an auto-response setup from one of the accounts that receives those emails?
Does that work with a public folder?
Yes, with Folder Assistant through Outlook. Otherwise you can create a rule for incoming emails through Office 365 to accomplish that too.

@Obsolesce @black3dynamite so this chocolatey could be the missing bit to speedup redeployment of a win machine as I do with linux+ansible+current distro's repo... I will check it.
Oh it's amazing.
If you have Ansible already, I'm with the "only backup once in a while."
Or ever, is there really a need to backup at all?
Well Windows patching and applications install is a pita. I will look into chocolatey. Wasting a day in reinstalling stuff in attended mode is not on my plans...
Do you have a lot of apps to install? VS is a big one, that should be able to be automated.
Would storing a copy of installers help?
VisualStudio Community is in Chocolately actually.

Oh wow, cool. Had no idea.
So is SQL Server Express.
That is how I seutp my Win 10 VM for some dev stuff.

is this what you're talking about when you say "USG"
Yes.
Okay. LOL i've never heard that before so i had to google it
We have mentioned it here quite a bit
Fair enough - But I don't read every post. and Im not exactly sure it's came up in any of my discussions that i"ve started
Ah, that might be true.
Download the Latest Release of win-acme from here
https://github.com/PKISharp/win-acme/releases
Extract the Zip file to the C:\letsencrypt folder (You can change this to your own folder).

Modify the C:\letsencrypt\scripts\ImportExchange.ps1 line 94 from
FileName = (Join-Path -Path $StorePath -ChildPath "$TargetHost.pfx")
to
FileName = $StorePath
Modify the C:\letsencrypt\scripts\PSScript.bat file to this
powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File ./Scripts/ImportExchange.ps1 %2 IIS,SMTP,IMAP,POP 1 %1 %3
Then run the following to get the lets encrypt setup
letsencrypt.exe --plugin manual --manualhost mail.domain.com,autodiscover.domain.com,webmail.domain.com,autodiscover.domain2.com --validation selfhosting --installation iis,manual --installationsiteid 1 --script "./Scripts/PSScript.bat" --scriptparameters "{0} {5} C:\ProgramData\win-acme\httpsacme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org\mail.domain.com-all.pfx"
Then your SSL in your Exchange should change to the Let's encrypt one.
NOTE:See the source for the Import to Exchange SSL fix below:

Find any that stood out from the crowd?
No keep changing my mind on what to use for the prices
But the Dell X1052P look nice at the moment.Quite Expensive though.
For what it is, that looks very reasonable to me. 48 1gb ports, 369W PoE, and 4 10gb SFP+ ports. But now I'm curious, do you have a favorite?
I'm seeing a lot of HP and Cisco gear around, and most of you know my opinion on Cisco already.
I use the Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch Series
ES-24-500W
ES-48-500W

Because when it's time to renew, you can renew for free.
And plus is automated.

@wirestyle22 said in DNS Update Issue:
@Dashrender A computer is making a request of DC1. DC1's dns service has failed. computer receives no response and moves to DC2 (the second dns entry). This is what I am referring to. Why would DC1 need to reference DC2 in it's own DNS entries? The replication is something else entirely and doesnt rely on the dns service. Am I missing something? If the DNS service fails it's just a failure regardless of other entries.
@wirestyle22 I don't think you are missing anything, we discussed that yesterday over PM and it is as you said. I for some reason thought differently although I knew DNS replicate automatically through AD. As it is, you shouldn't need to use another DNS Server on DC1 or viceversa on DC2.

Sounds interesting, might want to look at a post on that. I have my backups simply going through Synology to Wasabi.
@wrx7m said in Cloudflare - Forwarding CNAME to HTTPS URL?:
I figured it out. You need to enable the HTTP Proxy (CDN) option for the CNAME record. AKA, the orange cloud.
Yes, you do, otherwise it will never work.
