just need to vent a little. I seriously don't get people that cold call you wanting to sell your service. I mean i get why they are doing it but when I tell you i'm not interested and then they keep going, that annoys me. However there is a line you shouldn't cross and that is looking up a person on linked in and then requesting that potential client to be your "professional friend" that is just creepy (to me at least). I understand that linked in stuff if we have/are going to be doing business but just after talking and i'm telling you no what makes you think I will accept anything of the sort....

ok i feel a little better now. Back to work i go.

I got them today. Check your spam filter.

nothing in spam, they have been sporadic at best, i have only recieved 5 digests since i signed up back in march. The dates are 4/29, 5/3, 5/14, 5/16, 5/17 and then they stopped. Nothing has changed and we are using Exchange Online with Office 2010.

so in other words you have to download the app (which takes advantage of this loophole). This is not new and this is why i tell people to pay attention to what they are downloading, but hey this is why we have jobs right? Because people fail to pay attention, their phone/computer/electronic device gets hijaked and then they claim they didn't do anything. This is why I don't download any apps on my phone that I have not researched and fully vetted.

I am not receiving any daily digests. The last one i received was on 5/17

today i get to play well the new dell venue 11 pro that showed up yesterday. Docking station and keyboard dock. This should be interesting.

quickly building a new computer to replace one that was just drenched in hydraulic oil

i was having the issue yesterday as well as a weird one. I could post a reply, hit submit and nothing would happen. I would have to close the tab and reopen it for me to see that the reply actually posted. I am on FF 29 win 7 sp1 pro. And of course everything works today.

not sure, the cyber power ups setup we just installed required (4) 208 3 phase outlets to connect to. I don't know to much in terms of electrical and single phase vs 3 phase.
I know we have 480v here in our shop for some of our larger machines.

initiative went out the door a while ago ( i was guilty of this when I first started) always asking questions instead of trying to find the answers on my own. But 4 years in, he should have those skills by now to be able to research first then ask after you get stumped.
