Where was the email when the outage started?
Maybe they host their own email server. That would certainly explain the long delay.

We are having an issue accessing some of our network subnets due to a local car crash that caused fiber to be cut.
Network Update: Our fiber technicians have confirmed that the target for full restoration is 8 PM EST today.
We will provide updates as we get them.
Panel is back up... but still no access to my boxes.
We switched to WR from Vipre a while back. Overall, I'm happy with the product. There are a few things that take getting adjusted to or that need addressing in the product:
Your actions in the web panel don't occur immediately. Depending on your settings, it can take up to 24 hours for the command to be processed by the endpoint.
Everything is MD5 based. You can't exclude by directory or filename. If the MD5 changes, then you have to "redo" your earlier changes to allow the new version of the app.
Identity Shield modifications (allow / deny an app) occur at the endpoint level rather than the policy level.
Both of my boxes are not accessible. Also can't load the panel.
They stopped offering discount coupons a while back. If you have enough domains then you can save money with their discount club.
Seems to be pretty snappy this morning. Anyone still seeing I/O issues?
FWIW, not seeing this on either of my boxes, which have little or no traffic.
@scottalanmiller Not seeing any issues here with gmail. Also, you can filter incoming emails. Look under Setting > Filters, and use the option to Skip the Inbox (Archive it).
My apologies but I'm a neophyte on this stuff. So beyond the did fee and the per minute rates, are there any other fixed or variable fees to be considered when pricing out the voip service?

$0.02 /minute outbound is double other carriers.
Understood. That pricing appears to include the cost of the gateway / sip trunks. How would one compare this to the pricing from Voip.ms?

Nothing unless you have a lot of inbound calling. Then I like VoicePulse, but I hate their 4 concurrent call limit.
Have you looked at their latest price? How does this compare to your prior experience?
