I find it very easy, just don't have it connected to the internet when installing. You then select offline account.
You don't know if they will disable you doing this on the the final release of the Home Edition.
If you want more customisation and privacy without companies selling your data and generally a secure OS then Linux distributions are they way to go in my eyes.
I think they will eventually push their OS to a basic model within the next 30 years and push a azure virtual desktop more for home use, knowing that way they can they can bring a monthly income for every desktop. It wouldn't even surprise me with their sudden interest in linux that they will change to the linux kernel with a windows compatibility layer, they could then save more by getting the help of the Linux community and probably less outgoings for them on their windows team. they are already bringing lots of implementations to windows already for their 365/azure stuff. They are obviously knowing most users have internet these days otherwise they wouldn't be forcing the Microsoft Account Login. It's all about being online now and windows I can see going this way.

It's slow, it's buggy, updates are a train wreck, security, easy of use, aesthetics, support, flexibility, software, software management, shell quality, etc.

As Dustin was saying above I cannot believe you need to have a Microsoft account now for signing on. with even more tracking embedded wouldn't surprise me.
How much has our work flow changed from using pc/laptop since the xp/win7 era? The only reason they wanted to change the OS so badly was to support the mobile and tablet market. But most people didn't want that and their mobile effort failed. They shouldn't of touched the desktop as much. They finally got somewhere with Windows 7, such a shame.There is nothing inovating about what the new Windows will be like that linux distros haven't already done.

At Least they have got rid of tiles though, another pointless addition that was that was thrown in from the mistake of windows 8.
@black3dynamite I actually have a windows licence on this machine, but moved over to linux because I'm more productive on it. I can leave it on without it forcing me to reboot or waiting forever for updates to install. I dsilike the start menu in windows 10 and half settings in control panel and other half in settings. even changing the network adapter is more clicks then it was in windows 7. the days of just right clicking and going to properties, and I dont see Ctrl + Run netcpl.cpl as productive. Linux just does updates better. both the first and 2nd feature updates killed my machine. and now bringing back widgets...fuck that's not innovation.
