RE: Remix OS Singularity
@Dashrender It won't be a phone interface, but a full working desktop interface, well in theory

RE: Remix OS Singularity
Has anyone heard of the UDOO X86 boards that are coming out this year? - it started off from a kickstarter campaign:

RE: Remix OS Singularity
I don't need gaming specs, my computer is used for work only, I have dual AOC monitors and like them more then using a laptop screen, I only use a laptop when visiting sites to setup routers etc.

RE: Remix OS Singularity
I think I will always use a desktop PC, although I am thinking about getting a Intel NUC once I have got a new NAS for home, don't you think towers just look out of place in the modern home??
-
RE: Remix OS Singularity
@scottalanmiller very true, but that would normally be separate desktops, separate apps, unless you are using a hosted desktop but that won't always be the case.
Some people rather have a smaller device then having a laptop on their desktop plus external screen, I cannot stand working on a laptop really.

RE: Remix OS Singularity
It could work for business for BOD, most companies provide a phone for business anyway. They would obviously still need to provide a screen keyboard and mouse though.

RE: Did AMD Just Stage a Comeback to the Server Market?
This could be great for AMD, I would like to see them start dominating the server market more.

RE: Goodbye 3DTV
@Dashrender I got the TV on discount and I wasn't even bothered about 3D Either. I feel curved TV's are gimmicky as well, but that's my opinion, I know a lot of people have them.

RE: RDS / Outlook interactions causing crashes?
Sounds odd that one, what about testing and disabling local resources on the RDP client to see if there is any local interference? (i.e audio) might be a worthwhile test? also could try reducing the screen resolution?

RE: Amazon released Chime, skype alternative
Looks like a load of you know what....does not look competitive or worth trying with the other solutions available, you can have up to 25 people on a conference chat for free using Skype.

RE: TrentaOS Interface
This one is quite reputable on Distrowatch as well:
