@Katie I haven't been to that area in ten years... it is DEFINITELY time for another visit.

RE: Tired of winter?
Ok. I am completely envious. I want to be in Florida...
Hopefully, that's my next move... I like Oklahoma, but I do miss having a real beach nearby.

Nice! I'll be downloading and installing this at work in the next couple of days for evaluation.

RE: Cooking with mango
I like @minion-queen 's variation! If it's good for you AND tastes like an Orange Julius, I'm going to have to try it!

RE: grumble grumble grumble grrr
For a long time, I was truly a night person. Then I made the transition to being a 'morning' person, where my day normally started around 4:30 am. Now, due to my work schedule, I'm an evening/night person.
A.J. if your body needs sleep (usually 7-8 hours) then caffeine is only going to help a little bit. You can't 'bank' sleep or 'catch up' on sleep either. You use it or lose it. Kind of difficult sometimes.

RE: If you are new drop in say hello and introduce yourself please!
More than a few of these names look familiar to me, but I'm Bud and I live in Norman, Oklahoma.
I like coffee.

RE: Elio Fuel Efficient Cars
I've been following Elio for a while. It seems like a great idea, the problem is that, as previously stated, under Federal Laws, it operates as a motorcycle. States have different guidelines for motorcycles, helmet laws, etc. I know that I had read on one web site that they are trying to get them classified as cars. I think it's a pretty great idea and to be honest, you can't beat that kind of price for something that you can drive all year round.
But this is the one I would rather get

@ajstringham
You think hormones during pregnancy can be bad? Try being around them during a severe bout of post partum depression... -
RE: Do you find a tablet useful for work?
We just ordered two Surface Pro 2 tablets recently. Hoping to get them in this week and begin evaluation. We felt that it would be great for those times when we want to live the confines of our cave and get out and about in the building.

RE: What are you listening to? What would you recommend?
Lately at work, I've been putting on Pandora. Currently the band (and associated type of music) that I've been listening to is Tesla. Which has had a lot of Guns N' Roses, some Foreigner, Whitesnake, etc.

RE: Umm...what did I just read?
I saw that the other day. It's scary. I learned when I was a kid that my parents were responsible for me up until I was 18. After that, it was me. No one could force them to take care of me or provide for me or assist me in any way. Legally forcing parents to provide for their adult children is something that can add more crybaby litigation to an already overburdened legal system.
