I've installed ransomfree https://ransomfree.cybereason.com/
Good tool, and free, to avoid ransomware.
Check if that detects when you run ransim https://www.knowbe4.com/ransomware-simulator

I am about to setup a CentOS 7 to install sc and migrate our existing windows setup to this. Setup will be based on the instructions from @scottalanmiller https://mangolassi.it/topic/3997/installing-screenconnect-on-centos-7/20
Hope there are no issues with CentOS7 on SC as of now
Along with that, planning to enable 2FA for all instances and the cloud login as well
I am looking for a tool that can be used for internal projects with the following features:
Part of our O365, we have MS planner, been using it for few weeks and not really happy with that (mentioned this on another thread in ML)
We have a requirement to setup a secure file sharing option to send and receive files between our employees and our external vendor. I am looking for a solution which enables file server, but along with that, some additional features which analyses the files for any threats. As i understand, the way products like box, one drive, Dropbox etc. works to protect against ransomware for example is to restore from previous version. This doesn't protect an end point from getting infected. We do have endpoint protection but still wanted to ensure the files we get from outside is also scanned.
I've seen https://www.getfilecloud.com/
The part that I am interested in is:
Ransomware Protection:
Heuristic file content scanning engine to detect and block Ransomware
Anti-Virus scanning:
Automatic anti-virus scanning of files when uploading files
Only thing on the AV scanning is that the AV used is clamav https://www.getfilecloud.com/FileCloud_Security_FAQ.pdf
I am trying to find the same functionality on NextCloud, but didnt see anything specific on heuristic analysis
Tried another setup, this time after the initial setup, i just imported the SQL file and the site was fine with the old server data. Later on carefully checked and compared the differences in public, storage and config folder and moved data over to the new server (it was just the images) and cleared cache. Everything seems to be working fine as intended.
We've previously used https://www.quest.com/products/on-demand-migration-for-email/ to migrate 250 mailboxes from on prem to o355
I remember reading about a lot of sync issues with OneDrive previously and thought someone has feedback about that with the latest version. Will watch this space and also test out with my free package that I have!

You can use Veeam Endpoint, but it does require a license to backup to ODfB. That is more of a premium feature. Otherwise, you're tied to some type of local storage, whether on your network or to your PC.
I was just giving an example of free software like Veeam, if it requires license, I will look for other free or cheaper option.
Looks like Veeam free version supports backup to onedrive

Bitwarden is another self-hosted option.
https://help.bitwarden.com/article/install-on-premise/The business use version doesn't seems to be self-hosted.
It's GPL3, all versions are business use.
I meant for my requirement of sharing with 4 members, I guess Families/business version will work
However, found out that self-hosted version has this option, you just need to pay for that plan.
You could try cisco umbrella (previously opendns) https://umbrella.cisco.com/products/packages or mimecast web security https://www.mimecast.com/products/web-security/
I've previously used untangle and clearos for these as well
The only catch I could see is the mandatory port 443 as per their site
The majority of work for Link is done with our installer, but there is one bit that will have to be done by you or your network team. Your external firewall will need to route incoming TCP 443 to your PDQ Link server. 443 is the only port SSTP can utilize. This configuration is mandatory to allow your external clients to connect.
If you already have another service on 443 with a public IP, we need to use an additional IP for PDQ link.
Our Gitlab installation really helped the team and currently being used by the HTML team. PHP team is in the training process and next year, all would move from svn to git. Makes version manage way too easier when compared to traditional svn.
We currently have Mantis as bug tracking system, which honestly i don't like even though I implemented it. Once all are on Gitlab, all bug tracking can be moved to gitlab which has a better system overall.
