Getting the X2Go NX Server running on Linux Mint 18 (Sarah) is pretty simple. Just use this process:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:x2go/stable
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install x2goserver x2goserver-xsession
That's it. The server will start itself up.
