Data Transfer not able from MAC Airbook to Windows 8.1

One of the user came for the data transfer from the MAC Air book to Windows 8.1 machine(HP Probook 440 G2)
Both the laptops are in same domain but unable to share the data from both the devices
Can any one help on it?
The removable drives from both the laptops are not working and both the laptops are in same network only -

Why are they unable to share? What has happened that nothing is working? Like network shares are broken? We need more info.

The laptops are in same network(192.168.248.xx) .I have shared the downloads and documents from the MAC and tried to take the share in the Windows.It shows that I dont have permission to share the resources.
McAfee is blocking the USB from the MAC and Windows machine

Turn off McAfee.

@scottalanmiller The Mcafee DLP is enabled in every machine so unable to turn on or off from my side.USB is not preferrable for data copy

So... you can't transfer files because it is desired that you not transfer them. Maybe the issue is that you should not be transferring files?
