Might be time to jump on the AoEIIHD train... haven't bought it yet but I really enjoyed the AoEII campaigns.
-
Adding in @Eric @AndyW @art_of_shred @Minion-Queen @Mike-Ralston
-
Damn I had no idea people were still playing AoE
-
It's a classic. Nothing ever really compared to it. The HD revamp is really good.
-
I played AoE and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness for Yeeeeears! Oh and a bit of Starcraft.
-
Starcraft, that was a long time ago.

Starcraft 2 is not bad, the storyline is cliche but expected from Blizzard. The gameplay is fun and engaging. The really sad thing is the custom maps which were at the heart of Starcraft and Warcraft III just don't seem to exist at the same level and variety that they had previously.
I don't think there has been a decent RTS in several years, unless you count revitalization like AoEII HD.
-
No need for a new one with AoE2 being HDified.
-
I wasnt a big fan of WCIII. I only ever played original SC and WCII. And AoE of course. I think I briefly tried SCII when it came out, but , kids lol. No more gaming for me.
-
My kids game a lot, they love it. That is partly what got us back into it.
-

I read that as "an army of Biebers" and I was scared...
-
There could easily be a mod for that.

AoEII is such a great game. We all got AoE3 and tried playing that for the updated graphics, but they changed the game play enough that we just didn't love it the same. I would love it if they made the civs from AoE available in AoEII HD.
-
Does it have Steam Workshop support? I'm sure someone probably has already done that.
-
I just had a great idea for an AoEII homeschool application. We can all take a different civ or pairs of civs that actually fought each other and play against each other. I think it could help the kids remember conflicts and info about civs. And we've always love AoEII game nights.
-
I just think that there should be a lot of AoE2 in home school in general.
