Now that is a sleek looking car. I'd be interested into looking into it if it hit production.

Just a software governor. Those have been around for decades.

I'm aware :). The proto for this hit 234 mph I believe.

Time to bypass on this thing. I'm not a car guy so this isn't something that I had done before. If they hit production there will be cars on the street capable of 234 mph if they get the fully outfitted version.

I'm not much of a car guy either, but imagine self driving cars all zooming around at 200+ mph.
Wouldn't have to worry about deer at that point. . .

You wouldn't need an ambulance there either, just the morgue.

Or a means of keeping the roads clear of obstacles, and mandated seat belt use before the car moves.

Screw the seat belt. I'm going 5-point harness.

"if you're gonna hit a deer, speed up" . . .
Meaning at those speeds, the car, the deer, the everything is toast. . .

Can I go ahead and get the parachute/ejector seat add-on package please?

Much more worried about deer... even going 30-40 mph they can do a ton of damage to a car.

Have you ever seen a motorcyclist hit a deer at 80 mph? The deer is in a lot of pieces and the motorcycle just keeps going.
As for a broad face car... well the deer will still be in a lot of little pieces.... but the car will be totaled as well.

I've had a deer jump into my lap on a motorcycle going ~60. Knocked me off but the bike just coasted and set down in some grass off the side of the road. That was a painful week.

This, this is why I will never own a motorcycle. I am a deer magnet, I've hit 6 in the past 8 years. If I had a motorcycle I would die.

After we had our daughter I ride a lot less. Once or twice this past year. Just too much risk for me to feel comfortable on it anymore. Which sucks because I really enjoyed riding.
