      Sorry, only in France until the Shield hits the US in May, the first Ultra HD Android TV device is on the market.

        Argh. 4K and UHD are not the same. It looks like it will be UHD (3840 x 2160) not 4K (4096 x 2160). It's odd that they are integrating the switch and router into the box. I wouldn't be surprised if Google did something similar though.

          I'll be impressed if they improve picture quality over 1080P - lots of 4K stuff gets compressed all to hell.
