Weird RDP issues with one application.
-
I have ONE user (out of hundreds) whose RDP session crashes only when the run Adobe Premiere. This is a graphically intense program.
As I understand RDP, it really shouldn't matter what program you are running, it's just screen data, kb data, and mouse data.
My only thought is that Adobe Premiere is affecting the RDP host app on the workstation. (Not sure what its real name is, but it just a terminal server at the workstation, I think).
The user is authenticating with the firewall and the RDP'ing into the network. We are doing NAT so she is coming in on port 3394 and I NAT it to 3389 on its way to the users workstation in the office.
Am I missing something? Or is it likely an Adobe Premiere conflict with RDP?
Thanks.

It sounds like the same thing when you use Apple and MS-RDP. If you change the port sometimes it doesn't play nice. Maybe it's using UDP block that's crapping out?

Thanks. This was it. But suddenly, it's not enough of a frustration to go without audio! Go figure.

Also does your use have an NVidia Video card? If so, they can get this.
