Is Meow the new Chatroulette, or is it the new Tinder?

Anyone have you tried this:
You've probably already heard of it. You've probably been invited to join by every single Facebook friend you have. It's called Meow, and it's the chat app which is currently the most popular free app in the UK iTunes store.Meow is not a recent release. Developed by Minus, it's been around since 2013. Which makes it around 10 in cat years. The update on 17 July, however, saw a flood of Facebook invites to join; in a repeat of what I like to call the FarmVille onslaught, and the Candy Crush putsch.

I've never heard of Tinder or of Meow. And I only know CR because of that one guy who did "Call Me Maybe" on it.
