can you install Pertino VPN client on a Chromebook? If so, does it work well like it does to OSX and Windows?

No, there is no installer for it.
What would you expect it to do if it did work? I mean in theory you'd be able to open websites on the LAN, but there are better ways to handle that. It would not interact wtih Windows or OSX on Pertino or off Pertino, so that would remain the same.

The real question is... what do you want the Chromebook to do by putting it on Pertino? What is the end goal?
