Ubiquity NVR Server
-
Does anyone have experience using UBNT NVR on their own hardware ? [Not the appliance]. I am looking to determine if there are more real world performance usage scenarios that anyone would like to share. I currently have 25 Ubiquity cameras and they are working seamlessly. I have the camera's separated in their own VLAN. One of my biggest issues I'm experiencing is that the host is very close to topping out the processors, so I'm migrating to a beefier rack mounted host.

I'm interested in it, but haven't pulled the trigger to get one. I'd also have to get some cameras as well.
From what I understand, they can also manage Ubiquity WAPs as well.

I'm not sure about the NVR managing an Access Point -_(- -)/-
I have a build of the NVR currently installed and running in production.

And I thought it was just a device that you buy from Newegg or something.

Yes you can actually use the NVR appliance, but I'm referring to the actual software you can install on your own hardware.

@krisleslie I understood. No problem.
