Had a nice day just hanging out with my dad. The kids have been running him ragged today. They have so much energy.

I got a "new" iPad Mini 2 today. So have been playing with that and getting it all set up for me to start using on a regular basis. I am traveling quite a bit in December, starting with flying out to Seattle for three days starting on Tuesday, so having a small tablet to take with me will be really handy. Don't know where all I am going in December, but at a minimum Seattle at the beginning of the month and Houston at the end of it and there is a decent chance that I will be in California somewhere in December too and likely at least one more trip up to Rochester at some point too. Big travel month.

We are kicking around the idea of being in Europe (probably Spain) in January too. So possibly even more travel.

My dad, @SonshineAcres is playing Tropico 3 sitting behind me right now. His first "modern" video game. He's been effectively video game free since the ColecoVision days!!

It's Friday night here on a holiday weekend. Two more days before most anyone has to go to work again in the US.

My daughter just completed her largest Lego set yet. She has been working on it all evening. It's the Lego Friends Beach House. It is a really cool set.

Star Wars VII trailer is out!! Not sure what I am going to think of it, Ep 1-3 were devastatingly bad. And the new movies aren't canon, they completely act like the next three stories were not already written and committed decades ago. So they are a "reboot" of the franchise that completely diverges from the actual story. So.... they are like fan fiction written by people who didn't even know the original story. Are they even really Star Wars at that point? It's a sad situation overall.
