        This move really has a lot of implications for the SMB market too. It implies that maybe AMB64 architecture (Intel chips) aren't the cost effective way to go. Google thinks that IBM POWER8 might change the game for mass volume computing.

          Amazing that just a year ago it seemed like Intel was unstoppable and that the need for non-Intel chips was waning. Now POWER and ARM are threatening market domination and Intel fears marginalization.

          And Sparc remains amazing even though we hear little about it.
