@Ambarishrh I've seen seafile before but never got a good chance to test it out.

@lance There are lot of alternatives of seafile and i guess most ML users are Owncloud fans

I tried owncloud a couple years ago and it was ok. I might have to check it out again to see where it is now.

@lance So far I have Owncloud setup for my own personal reasons. It is working really well, one of the more recent updates made the UI fast and usable. I would like to set it up for our organization but haven't really had a need as of yet.

The only thing some people don't like is the official mobile app is paid. There are alternatives. But in a company environment it might be better to pay for the server and have the mobile client be free.

We are using ownCloud and it is pretty nice.

I have the mobile app. I could swear that it was free. Maybe I paid for it though.

@scottalanmiller Maybe they used to be, but It's $1 each on google play and the App Store now.

Yep, the OwnCloud app has always cost money from what I can tell. Not really a bad deal considering the functionality.

Yeah but it complicates the matter for business use, even on company owned devices. Even more so if it's BYOD. Paying for the server side would just make it simpler. Granted Seafile is free for both the server and all clients.
