      http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/11366162/US-chocolate-giant-Hershey-goes-to-war-over-imported-British-sweets.html

Hershey's, maker of low quality, mass produced American chocolate, is attempting to use legal means rather than capitalist means to own the US market. Sadly, this is the problem with American. It isn't capitalism, like people like to blame, but a lack thereof as companies are allowed to pull crap like this stopping fair market competition from existing. It is exactly the opposite of capitalism, consumers are not given choice and the market does not decide on a winner. Profits are decided by courts, not business.

        What a bunch of buttheads.

I guess if they are incapable of producing anything of quality, they have to try anything to keep the market closed up.

Yup, if you can't compete, sue.

If Hershey's can sue that having the real product available is confusing, can we sue Hershey's for intentionally deceiving customers?

                  It's not.
It's cannibalistic capitalism. There is no "free market". Companies exist to be "eaten" by other companies.

The US is not a capitalistic market at all. There is very little free market in the US. Tons and tons of "it looks like a free market" to people who don't know what that means, but capitalism is not something Americans have or want.
