MSN Top 50 Safest Cities in the World
Has to be based on crime stats only, as a few in the top ten are pretty scary due to crazy laws arresting tourists or for having active slavery on industrial scales. But overall the list is interesting.
Or particular interest, Romania has FOUR cities in the top 50 (all four I've spent time in.)

Yeah, it has to be about reported crime statistics, not actual safety. Like three cities on there are in places I would never travel due to safety concerns. If I was a citizen, I might find them safe, but as an outsider, they are super dangerous.
