Ballmer Says He Wasn't Forced Out

Steve Ballmer, who announced his retirement in August 2013 but finally left in February says that he was not forced out and that the board "didn't want [him] to leave".

I'm sure he is telling the truth. If the board had wanted him out it would have been years earlier. Now his customers and investors, that is another matter.
