To be honest, no. 15 isn't that bad. Not knowing who the CEO of Apple is isn't bad at all. How many people know who the CEO of Exxon Mobil is or the CEO of AT&T or General Electric? Steve Jobs was a famous CEO, to be certain, but normal people don't know what a CEO is, let alone who Steve Jobs is.
What is amazing is that even in Spiceworks in any discussion about IT people, Steve Jobs, who was never an IT person, never worked in IT, had nothing to do with IT and never worked at an IT company is often listed as peoples' favourite IT person. He wasn't even a software engineer (like Bill Gates.) Nor was he a computer engineer (like The Woz.) Steve Jobs was purely a business man and a marketer. A brilliant one of each. One so good that even people in IT can't tell that he wasn't in IT.
So honestly, if IT professionals can't figure out who Steve Jobs is, some teenage girl who happens to use an iPhone does not have any reason to know.

I've heard the name but didn't know that it was a girl rather than a band or a place name.
