Anyone Have a Websense Account
-
ML needs some help. We need someone with access to Websense to submit this site for categorization. Thanks!
-
You don't need an account for that. Just email it to [email protected] or at least that's the way I used to do it but it's been a couple years since I've used websense
-
Everyone says that but it isn't true. Try emailing in http://mangolassi.it/ It just tells you that you need a Websense account. Only paying customers may submit suggestions to them.

Ah, I guess that's why. We were a paying customer at the time so I guess anyone with a company email would be accepted.
-
Yes. By default anyone working for a Websense customer email address could submit. But even that is gone or else can be locked down.
-
We use Websense (unfortunately) - is something that is done from the Websense software or would we submit it another way?

I feel your pain.... I haven't ever missed it.

If you have a Websense account, you should be able to email in MangoLassi's URL to the email address listed higher up in the thread. It's just an email address, nothing more. It only accepts from customers though, hence the issue. Give it a try, at worst you get a rejection email.

Submitted - got an actual case # (seems tedious), let's see what happens next.

Sweet! Thanks. That should make a big difference. In theory it just takes two days and they add it.
-
Thanks @Rob-Dunn I can confirm that it worked. What an easy workaround
-
This is great, way easier to access the site now, likely for a lot of people. Websense is a major player in the web filtering space.
-
Nice. Just wanted to check in to see if it worked - - good news!
Didn't hear anything back from Websense, but it's good you guys confirmed.
-
We sense doesn't respond. They just do. It is pretty weird.
