          Only really important one is localized menus. Unity went the "Mac" route of universal menus which, to me, is one of the worst things you can possibly imagine. So hard to use and so unintuitive. This reverses that decision and makes it more classically useful.

                    It's not necessarily all that bad. Little visible change can mean a lot of effort went into important, but not flashy, things. Like Mac OSX Snow Leopard where they made almost no visible change but really shored up security, stability and performance factors.

                      I'm actually looking forward to this LTS as a possible every day desktop for myself. I've never been fully on board with taking the plunge, but the increasing irrelevance of the underlying OS is making using a stable and secure platform that much more attractive to me.
