We were working on a local business directly and local social site back in 2008 using PHPFox. We lost traction to Facebook as it was where everyone was going. I should have used the FB login script and gained traction that way instead of shutting down the project. It's cool to see the software is still around.

I knew that it wasn't new but had no idea that it was six years old or more!

We even looked into Dolphin too. Now if we decide to try again we would be looking at BuddyPress for Wordpress.
