        Depends. Each competency is different.

Yes, it depends on what competency you want to get and also if Gold/Silver. Let me know if you need some details, as we recently achieved our Gold Digital Advertising and am in the partner network setting up Yammer & Sharepoint with the Gold competency benefits! 🙂 Got 1 year 100 seat internal use licenses. 🙂

@technobabble You don't need to feel that way! To be honest I feel MS partner site is one of the difficult one to browse through to find what you need, and most times i end up calling them to clarify things. 🙂

You could get any of the below:

                https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/us/Pages/Membership/Small-business-competency.aspx

                https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/us/pages/membership/midmarket-solution-provider-competency.aspx

                This includes Office 365, 2012 Server, Windows7/8

The MS Partner site is really pretty awful.

Yes it is, and they keep changing the competency requirements and the whole competency! Few months back we were so close the get the Gold partnership and then knew that they changed their competency and as part of that we need to do BING ADs certification as well.

I've done this for a Gold Partner before. The big thing I remember was to get customers to acknowledge some projects that you use for each competency. It wasn't too difficult. If I remember, it was just have x number of certified staff and then get project references.
