          I thought they did too but I'm wondering if it's only objects of a certain size.

          I would think that if they could build a forcefield ala Star Trek technology, that would be friggin' awesome. I'm still hoping that Science will advance enough that in my lifetime I may see an advanced starship that can take Humans past Mars.

                I've been going retro. I haven't watched all of the 1966 series yet but I have all of the older movies, most of TNG, just started DS9, will work towards Enterprise.

                    @Bill-Kindle added the old one and TNG to my list. Have watched a fair share of them back in the day, however DS9, Voyager and Enterprise I watched all on Netflix.

                      What I have always found entertaining is that every few episodes deals with the human condition in some way on a very logical and thought provoking level. Take episode 1 of DS9 for instance or like when JLP discusses why humans should be allowed to live with Q.
