Company Tie up with any reason?

Many companies getting tied up in many things?
Whether the company is focusing to money or customer??? -
These questions really do not make sense. A company's purpose is to make money, it is a pretty rare company that would lose sight of that and focus on customers or anything else. Many companies are simply bad at making money, but they rarely lose sight of it since everyone needs to get paid from the owners to the janitors.
