That's not true. It's a ubuntu server running on their own services. I've looked into this before.

I wonder why they are blaming NameCheap then. But wait, if it was on their own servers, why does it go down at different times from their other VMs?
Maybe this is like Rogers, they just looked for anyone to blame for their own outages?

It's got it's own connection, and likely not oversubscripted. The panel's IP is 199.127.168.57 and is registered to Experior Networks LLC. It seems they could have lied about hosting it themselves before. However this while this starts with the 199.x that name cheap IPs do. It seems to be registered differently. All name cheaps seem to be registered to Black Lotus Communications. FYI if you do a trace route of the panel it goes through fibernetics.ca networks. Namecheap does not.

It's like GoDaddy. They sell domain names at low cost and provide super low quality web hosting services. One of those "unlimited hosting for $1" places.
