Turning up a VM, and was just thinking it would be nice feature for a hypervisor if the resources that you have to have the VM powered off for could be added while on, but not applied until a reboot. I don't know how many times I've noticed I needed to bump up something, but then forgot when I was running updates.

whatcha looking for? i might know a guy
As far as what I'm looking for, Fully managed 10/100/1000 switch, higher end brand like HP. Not Cisco since it is a pain to get updated IOS software for the switch.
If I can find one with some lite layer 3 that would be a plus, along with POE. But, neither are must haves.

Ebay seems to be the best source you get buyer protection. Elsewhere will usually cost more and be more bossiness geared with refurb and warriented stuff (overkill for home). And then there's the super sketchy websites.
That seems to be the best bet, I've just been curious if there was a source other people knew about that I didn't.

Used Network Equipment
I am building up my home lab (already purchased servers), but looking for used network switches. Is there any place that you all use besides ebay for purchasing used/refurbed network equipment?
