@scottalanmiller I agree with this too. From what I read last they are the 3rd largest networking producer in the world. Don't know if this is still true though. I think we would hear about it a lot more regardless if there was something really wrong.
Yeah, they are huge and trusted by most of the world.
Everything against them seems mostly political. The UK did a huge security audit and said all this stuff was bad (even though reading through the actual comment it was mostly that they didn't think Huawei was capable of making improvements.) However they never released an official public report.

Right, not one seemingly honest complaint has come out yet. I'm not defending Huawei, I don't know them well. But no credible issues have surfaced yet. It's nothing like Lenovo, and the government had no issues with that for a long time, long after it was indisputable what was going on. The issues with Huawei are too ephemeral and "secret". If the government has info, they are intentionally holding back data that the world needs. At this point, the US and UK are doing things very, very badly regardless of what they know about Huawei.

Boston Dynamics’ latest robot is a mechanical ostrich that loads pallets
The latest creation from Softbank's Boston Dynamics looks ready for actual work.
Boston Dynamics has a new YouTube video showing off its newest robot design. This one is a reimagining of the "Handle" robot that the company originally showed off in 2017. Back then the robot could jump four feet in the air and do all kinds of tricks; now its purpose is to load pallets.

Apple apologizes for failing MacBook keyboards yet again
The failures may be uncommon, but third time isn't the charm for this design.
Apple has again acknowledged failures in MacBook butterfly keyboards and apologized. The apology was included in a Wall Street Journal report by prominent tech journalist Joanna Stern pointing out that, like some others, she encountered a keyboard failure in her 2018 MacBook Air.

Apple just confirmed once and for all that AirPower will never come out
Apple reportedly never managed to solve a thermal problem.
AirPower was introduced alongside the iPhone X and Apple Watch Series 3 in the company's first event at the Steve Jobs Theater, in September of 2017. Apple said it would be a wireless charging mat that could simultaneously charge your iPhone, your Apple Watch, and your AirPods, regardless of where you placed them on the mat. At the time, AirPods could not be wirelessly charged, but Apple just released a version of the AirPods' charging case that supports the feature.

Surface Book 2 lineup refreshed with new mid-range option
Bottom spec dual-core drops in price to make room for the new version.
At launch, the Surface Book 2 could be equipped with either a 7th generation dual-core i7-7300U processor with two cores and four threads or an 8th generation i7-8650U with four cores and eight threads, with prices starting at $1,499 for the 7th generation part. That dual-core system now starts at $1,149 (with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage), with the $1,499 slot taken by a new i5-8350U model. This too is a four core/eight thread chip, with clock speeds of 1.7-3.6GHz and 6MB cache, in contrast to the 1.9-4.2GHz and 8MB cache of the top-end i7.

@JaredBusch Wish they wouldn't do the waitlist so much, while understanding why they'd want to control the ramp up process.
