Users Upset Over Surprise Changes to OneDrive
-
Microsoft made some major changes to OneDrive last week and failed to make these changes clear to their customers. Now the user community is less than happy with the results.
-
Oh boy this is not good. Now I have to be logged into one more thing all day long to use my files?

Are you using OneDrive or ODFB?
-
Both I have personal stuff in OD and ODFB for work stuff.

@Minion-Queen did you see the part about merging the two technologies? Oy...I liked that they were separate.

Yes I am not very happy at all. I like the separation!
-
@Minion-Queen me too...it just makes sense in every way you look at it.

They really need to do that. Having two products that people cannot differentiate is a major problem.
-
@Reid-Cooper perhaps, I thought it was stupid to use part of the same name for both. It would be like having Ford name a new car like pickup truck (think Ranchero) a Mustang F150.
-
Very interesting...

How can they merge them? If you have a hotmail and a work Office365, that's two separate accounts and two different types of OneDrives...

I don't know, this is MS...they do things either awesomely or assbackwards.

True that...

I don't understand how the product teams lock themselves away and just present a finished product with no warning. Include your customers, people!

Hmmm.... who does that sound like?

I bought a Onedrive 50 gig subscription last year to have an online place to save my pictures. Now that I've personally setup my own Office 365 business account I wanted to migrate everything over to that single account - It's been pretty frustrating the past two weeks trying to move items between them and get the sync to work.
